The Libeara Story

Libeara was born from a desire to increase financial inclusion by lowering the barriers to investment opportunities and enabling those with lesser means access to benefit from more stable investment instruments such as government bonds. Token technology proved to be just the means needed to power this dream of financial inclusion. Together, the Libeara Team and their insights have brought us closer towards a future where barriers to the investment process are broken down and assets are tokenised on accessible digital channels. To date, four successful pilots have been conducted in the lead-up towards our launch.

Libeara is backed by SC Ventures, a business unit that provides a platform & catalyst for Standard Chartered Bank to promote innovation, invest in disruptive financial technology and explore alternative business models.

We envision a future where more people can gain access to safer investments more directly.
